Very attentive staff. Good interior decor and ambiance. With complementary dishes (eggplant cucuber seaweed) and tea. Tried the Singnature Bundle. The Tuna Stone Pot looks fresh but it will really be cooked on the stone pot see video below (high risk of being burned and dry). It tasted overcooked when we ate it already. Our favorite is the Nori Nachos! Overall, food plating and presentation is beautiful and nice, but the taste is okay lang or tends to be rice-heavy [at least for the set meal we ordered]. Even the ratio of the rice in sushi roll tends to be heavy.
We visited Watami UP Town Center and enjoyed a variety of dishes. They served us a complimentary dish to start, which included eggplant, bean sprouts, and seaweed. We ordered the homemade gyoza and California roll as appetizers. The assorted chicken skewers for starters had an odd taste, so we had to skip eating some parts of the dish. For mains, we had salmon teriyaki with karaage teishoku and ramen with karaage teishoku, which we found satisfying, though some dishes lacked seasoning. We went there for our lunch. I encourage my colleagues to choose this one out of curiousity. Prices of their food are definitely expensive, but fortunately, we had some decent discount through a credit card promotion. The food that I ordered was so-so only — di ko sulit. They accept cards and QR code for payments. Overall, di ko sulit yung meals dito. Hehe
