my fave resto in San Juan. Staff are very friendly and attentive. not crowded. food is great. I always order their grilled chicken. the chimichurri dip is good 🤤 a lot of parking space!
If you have no transportation it’s a bit hard to get there and even harder to get back, coz so far we didn’t see any trikes. It’s located near to an unfinished construction with plenty of parking but a rough terrain. To the beach you still have to walk a bit or you can enjoy the chill out area at the restaurant. The food is good but on a pricy side. We had a succulent and juicy whole chicken and the very good fried rice with shrimps. Waiting time to prepare a whole chicken is acceptable. The beer is really cold, and the mango juice is so yummi. Staff is nice and friendly.
When you pull up to this location you can’t help but think to yourself, this is a cool spot! It’s away from the crowded areas and has lots of parking (extremely rare in San Juan!). The venue is large like a big box filled with a cool ocean breeze. Though the shoreline is not very close, the view is unobstructed except for the marvellous art installation. The problem is that there is no love put into this place. The decor is aging, the music feels like a random playlist with zero effort. The service feels like the staff are checked out and don’t care. The menu is really lame. Poor menu desi…
The sunset view is stunning. However the resto bar menu is not cohesive with the ambiance and what ELYU is. There are a lot of items not available. There are items in a group meal but you cannot order a dish separately. But hey, there is an opportunity to improve since the restaurant is really nice in terms of the interiors and conceptualized decors.
This is a good chillout spot to watch the sunset. The Mebuyan Vessel installation is right in front of the restobar. We had mozzarella sticks, chicharonnes, chicken wings, a beer bucket, and unlimited margaritas. Food was meh and serving was small for the price. Even the taste of the margarita, it was inconsistent. Service was slow, it looks like they only had 2 waiting staff and it was a Friday night when we visited. The front desk staff even had to help out when we were asking for refills of our drinks. Beware of the couch seating area by the beach. There were a lot of wood insects in th…
