Been quite a while since I've had Wendy's, so I decided to order 2 Dave's Double Burgers with Cheese Meals and 2 Chocolate Frosties. Dave Thomas was the founder of Wendy's. He used to be with KFC for some time before putting up his own brand and chain. Wendy is the nickname of his daughter Melinda. Wendy's prides itself with burgers that are so fresh because they come from beef that's never been frozen. Dave's Double is hefty. I had the new Tex-Mex Beef Bowl solo (P175.00). The dish itself is unexemplary and I would not try it again. Pretty much your typical Wendy's beef burger patty with "tex-mex" sauces and toppings over a bowl of rice. Heat was also quite mild. I wish they would do something with the rice. Maybe have seasoned or fried rice? I like Wendy's patties but I think it works better as hamburger than the rice bowl here. A go to place for the workforce’s lunch (or dinner…or any other meal in between). It’s good to know that they have a variation of burgers, aside from beef. There’s chicken, fish and shrimps (that I had for lunch!)…I think the high and mighty McD took out the fillet-o-fish from their menu 😢

If you are familiar with the Wendy’s restaurants the United States, you will be very disappointed here, You get a small handful (maybe 12 or 15) of fries with a burger meal and the burgers bear no resemblance to what you see in the US, they are about half the size. The bun and burger patties are super dry and just plain hard to eat.
