Why Chicken

Well-seasoned chicken cooked just right. Biryani rice was good. Red and white sauce pair well with the chicken. There was no half chicken option. It would be great to have it if you are eating alone.

The latest addition to the wide variety of roasted chicken in the city. The flavor is distinctly mid-eastern and very, very mild compared to the other "lechon manok" available. Some will say there is not much flavor at all, compared to the ones with inserted herbs and spices inside the chicken and some being injected with seasonings to the meat that results in tastes bursting in ones mouth. No question about the Chicken and Rice meal, the aroma of the combined spices has blended well for flavor. It has a distinctive middle eastern touch. Lami! However, few things needed to improve dining experience hereto (see pix): dining area - not well attended for cleaning, not cozy, and cramped; parking space is limited; and no rest room. 🤣

Taste: I found the taste at Why Chicken to be a mixed bag. The seasoning on the chicken was inconsistent, with some parts undercooked and others dry and flavorless. The biryani rice was stale and dry, lacking the freshness and zest I expected. While the taste might be acceptable given the low price, it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Price: The pricing at Why Chicken is definitely a strong point. For less than 500 PHP, you can get a whole chicken with biryani rice, which is a pretty good deal. It's a great option if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal that’s filling.

As soon as you walk into the establishment, the smell of spices and freshly made biryani immediately gives a preview of what to expect. The location is suitable for both casual meals and a quick takeaway. The staff was welcoming and attentive. despite the hustle, they managed to keep things running smoothly.
