We found this restaurant on our last night in Coron, the food in wild fern is the best we've tried on the street in our 6-day stay here. It might be a bit far from the center of the town but it's within walking distance. And the price is very fair, you will trade your money for delicious dishes, the money you spend here will worth every penny.

One of the best local Filipino restaurants on the island! The cuisine is authentic and equality is high. The Lechon, perfectly crispy and the fresh Lumpia was refreshing. Butter chicken was as crispy as Korean fried chicken and Pinkabet flavorful. Have been here several times and never disappointed.

The location is ideal for those traveling solo or as a group, since it is within the town proper, and establishments are a few walks away. Its advantage is that it has the lodge and restaurant in one vicinity. It is true that the tour package price is worth it, especially with the amount of food that is served at the restaurant and during the island hopping. I loved their Bulalo and Tapa, which I think are the flagship dishes. One of the best food in Philippines we had so far. Pork belly was crunchy and tasty and curried vegetables incomparable to other places. As a starter go for fresh lumpia. Surprisingly prices were comparable to local less sophisticated restaurants. Definitely recommend.

The place is just ok. We stayed in the hostel, the shower was broken, the water was off at random times, the internet works out in the lobby only which is fine but the connection is really poor (I checked out a couple other local spots which were great!) we didn’t actually eat the breakfast as the menu didn’t offer any veg or vegan options, there’s also no place to grab your own cup of coffee you have to get table service. There’s no water jug in the hostel for refills! You have to pay. It could be improved with a couple of things, kettle in the rooms or communal kettle, free water refills wo…
