After looking for Bulalo -a famous philipino dish for long, I finally found it here. I ordered beef Bulalo (Peso 430) with steam rice (Peso 50). The freshly cooked bulalo was very yummy. Beef was very tender. Quantity was enough to serve for 2. Staffs were very attentive. Restaurant was clean. And it offers sea food along with philipino dish.
Outstanding seafood’s dishes and wonderful services in D’mall. I love the quality and the freshness of the food. My family and I ate dinner here every night while we were in Boracay. I was even able to eat my favorite laksa there. It was tastier than Singapore. Highly recommended!!
If you are the type of person who decides where to eat based on the reviews, then Wokeria is definitely for you. You just need to look at the walls of this reataurant and you will see all the reviews literally hanging. Each crab shell is a review or a note or a greeting from their guests. Not to be left behind, we also did our own review in our own crab shell. But first we had to order crabs! We got ourselves their best seller Chilli Crab and our little one fish fillet. The crab was huge about half kilo and they served it whole and prepared it in front of us. I'm not a crab person but this on…
We had one garlic butter crab which cost a whopping 1850 pesos. The crab was excellent but I think it was a little bit too expensive compared with other places. The meal was excellent except I don’t quite recommend the pancit canton (noodles which are pictured). The staff were very helpful and kind. A member of staff cracked the shell of our crab with incredible skill. The squid, crab, kangkong and garlic rice were all very good. The service is really amazing and the general ambience of the restaurant is great. There is a 10% service charge which is common on the island and they only accept …
The food here is too expensive that I could tell their target market is foreigners, not the locals. I will definitely not come back because I realize I'm poor and can't afford to come back to the island of Boracay and eat there. There are other seafood places there that may have greater value for our money. Ok, so onto the review of the food and the ambiance of the place. Their garlic rice for sharing (good for 2-3 people) is ₱390! It wasn't even that good. It was just like regular rice with a sprinkle of garlic, there was barely any garlic. Definitely overpriced. Their calamari was too ch…
