We had a delayed celebration of Father’s Day and birthday at Xiu - Greenhills. The restaurant is a fine Cantonese dining place. Reservation is a must as the place is always full. We tried to eat there during actual Father’s Day and it was fully booked. The place has limited parking across the street and expect to double and triple park. Consistent. Reliable. My top go-to Chinese resto. The lychee pastry was scrumptious. Instead of plain steamed suahe, next time I’m gonna try the drunken suahe that has a little show. The only thing off was the coldness of the lychee almond dessert— it should be crushed-ice cold not just refrigerator cold.

Assorted roasted and bbq combination- 8.2/10 favorite part was the char siu. It was super tender and the flavors were not overwhelming. The roasted pork was also pretty good, it was tender but it wasn’t anything mind blowing. Siomai-8.5/10 One of the better siomais I had since it was so meaty and big. Would definitely recommend on ordering. Hakaw-8.4/10 Hakaw had a lot of meat also inside. They gave generous servings and the shrimp in the hakaw was super juicy. The singaporean tiger prawns go very well with the fried man tou! It's one of my go-to orders at xiu. It was my first time trying the lobster & I loved the simplicity of the soy sauce & garlic because you could appreciate the freshness/sweetness of the lobster.
