Compared to buying outside, it is just a little bit pricier here (well mall rental is not exactly cheap). They have well loved Chinese food such as lumpia, maki, kiampong, soy tofu, machang. The menu selection is but a few. Anyway I am surprised they are since 1960. I practically grew up and am always going around Ylaya but never noticed any Ylaya resto. Turns out it was in Binondo before, during their grandparents time. Now it is the grandchildren who inherited and run the business, which is now in Retiro, QC. DO NOT order lumpia. it has a weird sour taste. I don't know if it's the vegetables or what. 👎
