Yoshinoya has a branch in Festival Mall Alabang, beside Jollibee and Panda Express on the Ground of the main entrance building. I ordered Spicy Gyudon bowl. Though the rice bowl may be small, the spicy powder on the gyudon makes it delicious. I would like to come back for more foods, albeit it is moderately pricey, but not as pricey compared to the Japanese restaurant. Toilets are clean, tables were clean and neatly arranged.
service is topnotch, the interior and aesthetics is commendable as well, the food tastes great! only suggestion is to improve the chicken teriyaki cause it is kinda bland
This could easily get a 5 star rating for the taste of their food, except its going to be ruined by their very small serving, and does not match their price. I don't think they serve these small portions in Japan.
For some reason the gyudon here are a lot more stale and flavorful compared to other branches. The beef was tough and not tender enough. It was dry and there were barely any juices to give the rice some flavor. The wait time was fast, less than 10 minutes. But that is given the fact that there were less than 7 groups of customers in the restaurant.
Tried their Gyudon with green onions and onsen egg. It isn’t that flavorful and needs more liquid for the rice. At P285, the large size seems like a regular sized serving in other restaurants. Quite disappointed. Gyu ramen is good though. Overall not coming back.
