Zao Pho - clear soup with beef, meatballs toppings. Delish vietnamese noodle soup. Zao Bowl - vermicelli hair noodles topped with fried spring rolls, beef and pork skewers with vinegrette. Refreshing dish.
Despite the othet bad reviews, surprisingly, my visit was near perfect, and being near closing time. Been to the branch in Shangrila a few times and first time here. I had low expectations for pho because of what you can get at local chains, but this Zao pho was satisfyingly good.
I really liked their food. Probably need to improve the broth used for pho because they are probably using packed MSG to enhance the umami. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The place is in front of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
This open concept restaurant serves a selection of popular Vietnamese food for very reasonable prices. We enjoyed our crispy spring rolls, chicken and pork grilled satay. But the beef satay is NOT tender and juicy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Taste and texture wise, food is not that great compared to the other Vietnamese restaurants that I've tried before. At the same time, they're pricey. They also have to upgrade their dine in service, though their service crew were at least courteous. Lot's of things to improve.
