TLDR; bad service, unpleasant manager, mid food
EXPERIENCE will ruin the atmosphere but the food can sometimes save it. it does not in this case.
heard mixed reviews about this and went to try nonetheless because i find test kitchen by JB to be okay naman
did not enjoy my experience at all but i must emphasize the manager here truly downgraded my enthusiasm for it
her lack luster, rude, and abrupt demeanor and attitude - every time she came near us to either help wait, serve, or explain the food was unpleasant.
the servers told us 10 minutes for starters, 10-15mins for the mains and repeated it about 3x to make a point. only to serve the food 40mins later and look annoyed when we even tried to look for them to follow up. knowing we were inevitably going to inevitably ask to ff up, they snap a reply to wait for 2 minutes. it ends up being 10.
also must note that i had to ask for my water to be refilled multiple times. standard practice for most restaurants to already have these refill
